Ecrin Digital is an independent studio in France that designs and builds iOS and Android apps from a single React Native and Expo codebase, for startups and businesses of all sizes. We handle the whole path, from scoping and design to TestFlight, App Store and Google Play release, then maintenance, with native modules written when performance demands it.

Ecrin Digital is an independent studio founded in 2023 by Alexis Chân Gridel, a member of the Awwwards Young Jury 2026. We design and build iOS and Android apps in React Native and Expo for startups and businesses, fully remote from France, with the code delivered in your own repository.
One codebase serves both stores, which roughly halves build and maintenance effort while keeping a native look and feel. When a feature needs raw performance, we write that part natively, as we did for the drawing engine in Doodraw.
Small projects start at €500. A scoped app usually fits a Launch Sprint, from €6,000 to €20,000 excluding VAT, and ongoing work runs on a €3,000 monthly retainer. We give a fixed quote after a short scoping call.
A focused first version typically takes 6 to 12 weeks from scoping to store release, depending on scope, integrations and how fast feedback comes. You can install a test build on your phone within the first weeks.
Yes. We prepare the listings, signing, screenshots and review notes, run TestFlight and Google Play testing, and submit until both apps are live. The apps are published under your own developer accounts.
You do. The code lives in your repository from the first commit, with no platform lock-in, so another team can take over at any time.
