On 26 October 2026, the Troyes daily L'Est Éclair published a feature on Doodraw by journalist Héloïse Pieragnoli. The article also appears in Libération Champagne.
Titled « Doodraw, l'application née à Troyes qui fait danser les dessins du monde entier », it tells how Alexis Chân Gridel, a UTT engineering student and founder of Écrin Digital, and illustrator and content creator Élodie Mayade built an app in which every line moves the moment it is drawn, free, without ads and without generative AI.
Interviewed in Seoul, where they are spending Alexis's exchange semester, the duo explains how the idea was born in Troyes in May 2026, how Doodraw launched on 1 September 2026 and passed 120,000 downloads through word of mouth and creators, and how the student-entrepreneur status and Pépite Champagne-Ardenne support Alexis's projects.
